Trash Monster Demotivational by Sephirath21000 Trash Monster Demotivational by Sephirath21000
In all seriousness, this villain is the most ridiculous in design to have ever come from Ben 10. The premises is that he's the result of Trash-eating bacterias designed to destroy a trash island in the Pacific only to undergo mutation and gain sentience and control over itself to create a physical body. and what is it that this creature wants to do? Take over the world by submitting and forcing the human populace to create more and more trash for itself to feed off of. :iconfacepalmplz: Anyways, Ben goes Waybig and managed to run and create a super-sonic vortex -it happens- to send the Garbage Monster careening off in space towards the sun. But unlike the Garbage Islands in Generator Rex where everyone is fully aware of the dangers of trash in oceanic environments and is actively doing everything in their power to rid it (even the EVOs living in the garbage islands pitch in to clean up the trash by breaking it down into reusable matter). The dumbass humans of Ben 10 however are still pretty stupid as immediately after seeing Way Big tangle and go toe-to-toe with the Garbage Monster, right off of the coastline: people are STILL throwing away trash into the oceans and the trash drifts towards another Garbage Island.
So Captain Planets' and Wall-E's initial message about cutting-down on garbage production is pretty much a wasted effort here in this show. Talk about insensitive.

The ONLY thing I liked about this episode was Kevin continuously referencing Captain Planet and the obvious Mulder/Scully knockoffs... and Kevin's resulting reference to the X-Files. Everything else was too ridiculous for human language!

I am asseing a lot of things ripped off in Ben 10 all of a sudden.

...And epically fail.

Okay message at first, and the CP/X-Files references were cool, but this episode pretty much flopped.

The Critic said "It stinks!", I asked "What Stinks?", He replied: "What do you think?"

So that's what Keven was referencing. :XD:

I couldn't have said it better myself... although:

"Ben 10: in this universe, throw away all of the trash you want! A giant alien will just chuck it into the sun"

At least in GR we get the feeling that those involved learned something

Exactly my thoughts, in GR, people/EVOs took some serious action on getting rid of all the garbage by using specialized EVOs that could digest the trash and produce it into building materials in order to create a humongous Coral Reef. 2-for-1 Deal there: actively dealing with the trash problems while at the same time promoting large-scaled stability of the oceanic ecosystem!

Ben 10? Human Government Standard: "Nuke-it and hope for the best." It's like these guys WANT us to hate humanities lack of compassion, akining us to nothing more than a bunch of Yahoos (Gulliver-Style Yahoos that is)

Although... after Rex's worldwide EVO cure sweep... I wonder if he selected who stayed and who got cured.

Makes one wonder... However we do know that Ben didn't get cured since he wasn't even in range due to the separation of dimensional anomalies.
